Service Contracts- Extended Warranty Process
STEP 1: CREATE A COVERAGE TO ASSIGN TO SERVICE ITEM.
Navigation: Service Contracts Manager> Setup>Service Offering >Standard Coverage
STEP 2: CREATE SERVICE ITEM AND ASSIGN COVERAGE TO THIS ITEM.
Navigation: Inventory > Item Master
Order Management Tab>
Assign item to Child Inventory Orgs.
STEP 2: ADD SERVICE ITEM TO PRICE LIST.
Navigation: Order Management Super User> Pricing> Pricelist> Pricelist setup
STEP 3: CREATE ORDER.
Navigation: Order Management Super User>Orders, Returns > Sales order>Enter required details in main and other tab.
Line Items>Enter item, quantity,
warehouse information& other details under Services tab for service item and Book Order.
Services Tab>Enter details for service item as shown in below snapshot.
Scroll Right on Services Tab and enter details for service item as shown in below snapshot
STEP 4: EXECUTE PICK RELEASE .
Navigation>Order Management Super user>Shipping> Transactions>
Launch Pick Release> Select Launch pick release from list and click go.
Ship Confirm> Just wait for few minutes and move to delivery Tab and click ship co.nfirm.
STEP 5: RUN WORKFLOW BACKGROUND PROCESS PROGRAM
Navigation>Order Management Super user>View>Request>Submit a new request> Single Request
STEP 6: RUN (SERVICE CONTRACTS ORDER CAPTURE INTEGRATION PROGRAM IN 11I) AND (SERVICE CONTRACTS ORDER PROCESSING PROGRAM IN R12 AFTER COMPLETION OF WORKFLOW BACKGROUND PROCESS PROGRAM
Navigation>Service Contracts Manager>View > Request> Submit a new request > Single Request
STEP 7: LOOKING FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY CONTRACT
Navigation> Service Contracts Manager>Launchpad > Find> Enter Category and click More button, enter order number
